Credit Counseling Course

For counseling with care, start with The Mesquite Group

You have selected the budget and credit counseling course, which is required 180 days prior to filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection. This course is only for individuals or couples who have not yet filed for bankruptcy.

The online course is a flat rate of $24.00. Telephone sessions are available at $30 per person and $40 per couple.

Online Course

The Mesquite Group offers you the convenience of completing your Credit Counseling Course online. Your information is kept strictly confidential and will only be viewed by the Counselor evaluating your case. Upon submitting your budget information a Financial Counselor will review your file and add recommendations specific to your situation. Once the review is finalized, you will receive an additional email in which you must return to your record to view your financial assessment to complete the counseling process. Your certificate will be issued after accepting your Counselor review.

Telephone

The Mesquite Group offers you the convenience of completing your financial budget online. Your information is kept strictly confidential and will only be viewed by the counselor assigned to your case. Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation and a request to schedule an appointment. You must speak with a counselor to complete the counseling process.

Alternatively,the course is available entirely over the telephone Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (CST) and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CST).
